WELCOME TO
COZY LISBON ALFAMA
01 THE KITCHEN
The water from the taps in the apartment is potable and safe to drink.
On the countertop, you will find a Nespresso coffee machine and our welcome kit, which includes coffee pods and a sweet treat.
Instructions for using the coffee machine can be found at this link
You will also find a kettle and a toaster in the kitchen. The kettle should only be used to heat water; please do not use other liquids, as this can be dangerous and damage the appliance. Similarly, only apply butter, cheese, or jelly to the bread after removing it from the toaster.
The hob is induction-based and will only start once you place a pan or frying pan on it. To use it, press the "start" button on the touch panel, select the heating zone where you've placed the pan, and adjust the temperature with the "+" and "–" buttons. All the provided pans are suitable for induction. If you are using a different pan, ensure it's compatible. If an "F" sign appears on the touch panel, it means the pan is not suitable.
Instructions for using the induction hob can be found at this link
The oven is electric and very easy to use. The available options are displayed on the LED screen and include a microwave function for your convenience.

The fridge is hidden inside the white-striped panel in the kitchen area. You’ll also find cabinets with plates, cups, and cooking utensils in the same panel.
For garbage disposal, bins are located in the square in front of the apartment, near the tram stop. For recycling, there’s an Eco Point at the entrance of the castle on Beco da Lage. We’ve also provided an extra bag near the bin in the apartment, in case you need it.
02 LIVING ROOM AND RECREATIONAL EQUIPMENT
The TV works with two remotes. Use the TV-branded remote to turn the TV on or adjust the volume. For channels, use the MEO service remote. To switch on the MEO box, use the "MEO" remote. If the TV doesn’t automatically start when the box is on, select the "source" button (top left, identified by an arrow) on the TV remote, and choose HDMI1.
Any additional services selected by the guest will be added to the final bill.
If you brought a Chromecast or similar device, please remember to plug the HDMI cable back into the TV before check-out.
For WiFi access, select the network corresponding to your floor and use the password cozylisbonalfama followed by your apartment number. For example, in apartment 1, connect to Cozy Lisbon Alfama 1 and use the password cozylisbonalfama1.
Each apartment has two air conditioners, one in the living room and one in the bedroom. They can be used for heating or cooling, controlled by the white remote in the living room. To switch modes, open the remote and press the "MODE" button. A snowflake represents cooling, and a sun represents heating. Adjust the temperature with the "+" and "–" buttons. The fan button boosts the selected mode. Please ensure both AC units are always set to the same mode (either hot or cold) for proper functioning.
Instructions on how to use the Acs can be found on this link
Please remember to turn off the equipment when you’re not in the apartment.
03 BATHROOM
In the bathroom, you’ll find a hairdryer, towels for each guest, shower gel, lotion, and soap.
The ventilation fan operates every three hours to keep the space ventilated. At night, we recommend keeping the bathroom door closed to minimize noise.
There is an outlet for the hairdryer on the left side of the sink.
Towels can be changed mid-stay for reservations longer than three nights.
04 DEPARTURE
For check-out, please be ready by 11:00. Kindly ensure the apartment door is closed, lights and ACs are turned off.
