01 WATER

 

The water from the taps in the apartment is potable and safe to drink.

​

The hot water in the apartment is regulated by the water heater. It heats 80 liters of water at a time, which is typically enough for four consecutive showers. Once the hot water runs out, it takes approximately 30 minutes to reheat.

On the water heater, blinking lights indicate that the water is heating, while steady lights and the “shower ready” symbol mean the water is fully heated and ready for use.

• Apartments 0 : On kitchen storage room

• Apartments 1 : On cabinet on the white striped panel 

• Apartments 2 and 3: In the corridor, next to the bathroom door.

• Apartment 4: on the wardrobe at the entrance door.

02 THE KITCHEN

​

For your convenience, the kitchen is equipped with all the essentials for a short stay.

 

The fridge is hidden inside the white-striped panel. You’ll also find cabinets with plates, cups, and cooking utensils in the same panel, as well as a kettle and a toaster.

 

The kettle should only be used to heat water; please do not use other liquids, as this can be dangerous and damage the appliance. Similarly, only apply butter, cheese, or jelly to the bread after removing it from the toaster.

On the countertop, you’ll find a Nespresso coffee machine, which is very easy to use. Simply turn it on by pressing either of the two buttons on top. Lift the cover, insert a capsule, and close the cover. When the lights are still, press the button that matches your coffee preference.

The hob is induction-based and will only start once you place a pan or frying pan on it. To use it, press the "start" button on the touch panel, select the heating zone where you've placed the pan, and adjust the temperature with the "+" and "–" buttons. All the provided pans are suitable for induction. If you are using a different pan, ensure it's compatible. If an "F" sign appears on the touch panel, it means the pan is not suitable.

The oven is electric and easy to use. The available options are displayed on the LED screen and include a microwave function.

To activate microwave mode, press the power button, then the menu button. Use the rotary selector to select "Microwave", and press "OK" to confirm.

Under the kitchen sink, you’ll find a garbage bin, a small mop and dustpan, detergent, and a sponge.

​

For garbage disposal, containers are located in the square in front of the apartment, near the tram stop. For recycling, there is an Eco Point at the entrance of the castle on Beco da Lage. We’ve also provided an extra bag near the bin in case you need it.

​

As a complement, we provide one coffee capsule and one tea bag per guest. You will also find a sweet treat, a bottle of olive oil, vinegar, salt, pepper, sugar and paper napkins. Please note that this set is subject to stock availability.

03 LIVING ROOM AND RECREATIONAL EQUIPMENT

The TV works with the two remotes that are provided. The one that has the same brand as the TV should only be used to turn ON the tv or switch the volume. All our TVs work with a channel box from MEO company. To turn on the box, please use the remote identified with "MEO" at the bottom.

If when switching ON the box, the TV does not start automatically, please return to the first remote and select the "source" button on the top left corner, identified with an arrow, and choose HDMI1.

Any additional services, selected by the guest, are charged to the final bill of the stay.

 

If you brought with you a chromecast or any other similar device, please don't forget to plug the HDMI cable back on the TV before your check-out. 

​

For WiFi access, select the network corresponding to your floor and use the password cozylisbonalfama followed by your apartment number. For example, in apartment 1, connect to Cozy Lisbon Alfama 1 and use the password cozylisbonalfama1.

​

Each apartment has two air conditioners, one in the living room and one in the bedroom. They can be used for heating or cooling, controlled by the white remote in the living room. To switch modes, open the remote and press the "MODE" button. A snowflake represents cooling, and a sun represents heating. Adjust the temperature with the "+" and "–" buttons. The fan button boosts the selected mode. Please ensure both AC units are always set to the same mode (either hot or cold) for proper functioning.

Please don't leave the equipment turned ON while you're out of the house. 

​

If your apartment includes a sofa bed, you will find the linens nearby. We provide a fitted sheet, a pillow, and a duvet for your comfort.​

To open the sofa bed, simply remove the seat and back cushions, then pull out the seating section like a drawer. Once fully extended, it becomes a single bed.

​

If you would like the sofa bed to be set up as a bed before your arrival, please let us know at least 24 hours in advance so we can inform our cleaning team.

04 BATHROOM

​

The bathroom is located in the corridor of your apartment, or in Alfama 0, at the entrance to the bedroom.

​

For your convenience, a hairdryer, first aid kit, bottle of shower gel/shampoo, and bottle of hand soap are provided.

​

The fan is automated to operate every three hours. To reduce noise, we recommend keeping the bathroom door closed. If the noise is too high at night, you can turn off the fan using the electrical panel, located on the white-striped panel in the corridor—simply switch off the button labeled "Ventilação IS."

​

Please remember to turn it back on during the day to ensure proper ventilation.

​

An outlet for the hairdryer is located on the left side of the sink.

​

One towel per guest will be placed on top of the beds.

For stays longer than three nights, towels can be changed mid-stay upon request.
